Weekend
It's been a great weekend. We had plans. It was going to be busy, and it was. It almost worked out according to plan.
Saturday was to be shopping day: Leather (mainly for armour), Newtown to check out buttons and braid, The showground to catch the bead and jewellery expo and finally Ikea to check a couple of pieces that we were interested in. We managed to get everything done - including checking out the Egyptian shop in Newtown that sells some periodish traditional items; spent lots at the expo.
Sunday was to be 'Sort out the back rooms day' and we made a good start. Worked really hard and were completely knackered at the end of it so didn't go to the movies.
Monday was to have been sewing day, but it turned into relaxaday instead. While we were sitting outside reading and having coffee, Pirate the not domesticated cat came and actually sat within a few feet of us! At the end of the day we went to see 'Howl's Moving Castle', came home, had dinner and a good bottle of red. Over the red, we dreamed our dream house (two of them actually) and various other things, reminisced and snuggled.
