Now from Canberra

The traffic was pretty heavy and it even rained on the trip down. Not anywhere that counts, mind you, just enough to make driving more interesting.

I've unpacked and now I'm just waiting to realise what I've forgotten. I'm sure there'll be something I just hope it's not a Christmas present for someone.

If you did forget anything then I'm sure you'll be forgiven :) Have a wonderful holiday, I'm sure looking forward to Perth! Less than a week to go now! Yes, we will have to catch up on the duet practices when I finally get the payout. Might just go and check the dulcimer makers website now. She's based in Canberra, co-incidentally!

Nice icon. Must do something about mine someday. Hmmm, dulcimers. Where in Canberra did you say? Not that I can afford any more instruments for a while - a long while.

Not sure where exactly in Canberra but she's the head of the Hammered Dulcimer Society. I'll try and find her again.

If you haven't checked your mobile by the time you get this, can you? I have a question or two to ask Styvyn in his capacity as techhead. If it's ok and there's a landline to ring there, just let me know it but if it's a pain then not a problem. It can wait until I can nab someone else. Just being a little impatient to get the new 'puter up.
