I'm sorry too. We had a couple of problems - one being that we couldn't get to our garb (ok, we could have, but with much difficulty) and the second that we had another dinner (a work related one) on that night. It had been organised before I knew when the investiture was going to be, and then I'd forgotten it.
It will all be worth it in about 10 days. In the meantime, I'm going batty negotiating the obstacle course that is our house at the moment.
