I've been using the random option in the find user section. I guess everybody does at some time. It can be quite fascinating and some links can go to strange places.

Anyway, some observations:
The modal age of LJ members seems to be about 17
There are a lot of russian speakers using LJ (compared to all other languages aside from English)
There are a lot of quizzes
