Alhambra Nights II

The weather was cold and wet, but the hall was warm and beautifully decorated thanks to those who came and helped with that while I was busy in the kitchen. Hopefully I'll have photos to post soonish. I didn't think to take my camera but there were other photographers there.
It all seemed to go well. I was exhausted by the end of the evening, but that was to be expected. I did a whole passle of cooking the day (and night) before so there was a reasonably doable amount of stuff to do on the night. Next time I think I need to organise it just a bit differently so that I get out to socialise a little more.
That said, I enjoyed the whole thing in its own way and, lets be honest, it's a good feeling when people say nice things about the food you've prepared. I'm not sure what the most popular dish was - just about everything got eaten (there were a few leftovers, but not much). This is nice in that there was little waste, but does leave me worried that there was perhaps too little food and that I overcompensated for my tendency to overcater. Still, I don't think anyone starved or felt the need to send out for pizza.
My kitchen help (Jane, Klet and Anish) were wonderful as were the washers uppers and the people who decorated and undecorated the hall.
